About Us:
R Music Projects (formerly known as Roland Ent.) is base out of Galena Park / Houston, TX and is a music entertainment company that provides a wide spectrum of services: indie record label, strategic partnerships, marketing consultant, music ad production, music publishing, music video production, school concert producer, sample clearances with emphasis on artist/brand development, artist management and social impact. R Music Projects has assisted new brand initiatives, having aligned Baby Jay with corporate companies, education institutions and non-profits! We don't measure success by the number of records we sell, instead by the number of lives we impact! #Socialimpact

In 1996, Rolando Cuellar, founder/CEO of R Music Projects, began his professional music career as a recording artist with Houston's  first Latin pop/ freestyle/r&b group "PHAZE 3", which the group parted ways in the Fall of 2003. As managing partner for "Phaze 3" he created a buzz for his group among a couple of music executives. He was able to present his work as a songwriter and as a performer. During the release of Phaze 3's debut album, Rolando was also A&R and songwriter for Cruces Records and involved with the release of the label's first artist, Maria Cantu. In 2003, to Rolando's credit he received the opportunity to complete his music business internship with Beyonce's/Destiny's Child management/label. In the spring of 2004, Rolando officially launched Roland Entertainment with emphasis of developing and managing the careers of creative recording artists. He believes that Latin acts from Houston in the pop/r&b/hip-hop/rap genres can receive national and even worldwide recognition in the mainstream markets and in their respected niche. Those are big shoes to fill but will accomplish through dedication, determination, perseverance and his faith in God. His first artist, teen hip-hop/rap artist "Baby Jay", has received national attention for his innovative hip-hop/rap movement. Rolando saw an untap niche in the hip-hop/rap music industry and took on the initiative of developing and managing Baby Jay to fill that demand and to make a difference the lives of youth throughout the country. It wasn't a small task to take on but he did because he strongly believed in his vision and the huge positive influence Baby Jay could create throughout the country, especially to our youth. Like Baby Jay say's on his song "Hate is Over(Today)" ft. David Enriquez - (It's a new movement in motion) and there's no slowing down and stopping them now! David Enriquez is also currently in the studio working on his debut EP with some very talented music producers!
On May 4, 2007, Rolando produced the first of a kind "Perfect Attendance Concert"(tm) in the state of Texas or in the country and the follow up concert on May 16, 2008 received news media coverage and on that same day teen rapper Baby Jay became the first rapper and youngest in USA history to receive the Key to the City of Houston. These unique concerts are to assist school districts to increase their attendance and for some a tool assist them decrease the drop out rate. Concerts have been successful! Baby Jay has been very instrumental to these unique concerts and programs because of his one of kind educational component and music content. Rolando is currently working on expanding his efforts and he prays and ask God to grant  him the wisdom, strength, and knowledge to continue to make a positive impact in the music industry. Rolando now has another angel in heaven to watch over him and his acts as he continues his vision, which Kolor Blynde will always be a part of.  (RIP Kolor Blynde). In April 2009, Rolando was invited by the Recording Academy aka  "The Grammys" as guest speaker to speak with University students. He strongly believes in the city for which he and his acts were born and raised in, and believes it can compete along side of Los Angeles and Miami as the capital of Latin American Music.
